SALES/ ACCOUNT MANAGER

The Account Manager is responsible for obtaining new client companies and for maintaining current business. Outside sales is the focus with goals and targets being provided. Public relations with current clients is integrated into calling upon prospective customers. Assisting Reliance in obtaining new employees to fill job orders is also part of this position's requirements and includes relationship building with local universities, VEC offices, attending job fairs, compiling flyers and notices regarding openings and more. Reliance provides Clerical, Industrial, Technical, Hospitality, and Professional employees to firms throughout Tidewater. We place employees on a temporary, temp to hire and direct hire basis. We seek an employee who can manage and maintain a marketing plan that is effective and provides results. We seek an employee who knows how to create and deliver a sales presentation that will be something they haven't seen before. We desire an Account Manager who knows what groups to join and meetings to attend to network effectively. Our Account Manager will consistently be on the road, will stop into current clients and potential clients work sites daily. This person will become an integral part of our client's personnel department and will contribute value added services that our customers expect and deserve. He/she will assist Branch Managers and Personnel Coordinators with Reliance accounts by continuing to maintain and grow relationships as well as negotiate new partnerships and close contracts.
Reliance Staffing desires our candidate to have a minimum of five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in sales and marketing. Prior staffing/recruiting experience is highly desired. Our candidate will have very good computer skills and will be very proficient with MS Office, e-mail, social networking, etc. Reliance offers 30 years in the staffing industry, stability, salary plus a monthly commission and benefits to work directly for our firm.
