Quote and cover truckload (dry van, flatbed, reefer) shipments
Contact, negotiate and secure carriers for available/open loads
Dispatching, routing and scheduling carriers
Build relationships with new and existing carriers
POD collection and customer billing
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients
Consistently meet/exceed customer expectations by providing a high level of customer service
Ability to talk with decision-makers over the phone, on a daily basis
Communicate important market information and activity to customers, internal brokers, traders and management
Adhere to WDS risk management practices
Thoroughly understand the intricacies and rapid changes that occur in the freight industry & use this knowledge to better service the existing client base
