Receive incoming calls and correspondences with work requests; schedule work, dispatch technicians, coordinate appointments and follow-up with customer base. Maintain records.
Track technician progress on tasks, assignments, projects, etc. To maximize work time and ensure top line goals are met daily/weekly/monthly through establishing a daily, weekly, and rolling 4-week schedule/demand planning tool.
Keep Manager informed of changing work load, daily challenges and operational issues.
Collect work orders. Collate time worked, pick tickets and materials invoices. Post materials. Price work completed. Review with Manager prior to submitting to Accounting.
Order materials as necessary, track status and delivery. Issue PO's.
Complete truck log and keep fleet database up to date.
Other duties that contribute to the overall profitability of the company as assigned.
1 year Dispatch experience in related field
Must be proficient in MS Office Suites
Must be able to multi-task
Must have attention to detail
Some basic accounting skills a plus
