REPAIR COORDINATOR- PUMP MANUFACTURING
CHESAPEAKE, VA 23320 | Temp/Hire
Key areas include:
provide quotations to our sales force
overall control of each repair order
continually find ways to improve processes and techniques
Formalize and quote repairs
Opening and maintaining repair orders.
Perform tasks within proprietary applications in ERP and Lotus Notes systems.
Works with the local management team to prioritize incoming repair jobs for scheduling in repair shop.
Manage job costs. Assuring selling price and costs are in line to maintain acceptable margins.
Reviews and approves jobs, shop quotes before pricing, and finalization.
Provides necessary support to Shared Services
High School or GED equivalent.
(5) five years hands-on experience with machining in a manufacturing, job shop or customer service environment desirable.
Ability to read and work from blueprints
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
Knowledge of DFAR/Far Clauses and Government contracting
Some understanding of machining and welding techniques
Ability to work within stressful situations
